I just finished this today and its my first time to actually use pastel to color a humanoid figure. I was afraid it might get messy like it always did whenever I used pastel... well.. I think it turned out fine (more or less
 ) I can't color the hand properly.. so its a bit messy.. I also messed up her clothes. >_< so sorry |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. To define is to put an end.
You should try it too. Although it might be messy at first, its actually fun ^^ . I've only recently learned the technique. The trick is to rub the pastel hard on paper to make it thick. The thicker it is, the easier it blends with other colors. ^^
